Domus Aurea

I've spent a couple of days at this resort which is in a very quiet and relaxing location! There is a swimming pool with music and a small Kiosk where to buy refreshing drinks and icecreams. I loved being there with my family and kids. The pizza was the best i've had during my short stay in sicily, the other dishes were tasty and fresh. i would suggest this place for those who like to get away from the busyiness of the city.

The place it self it is acceptable if you need to sleep one night but hard to compare to other places around (in 5km) I visited. To be more precise: some room is old and not well maintained so to result dirty also if maybe the cleaned properly, for example you can find tv with a number of cables I cannot even imagine can exist, shelf with homemade cuts that I could do better, wall to be painted, doors stuck not opening properly, .... add whatever you can imagine a misdid work. Further more the breakfast is terrible, better avoid description. The staff try to find solutions and is reasonably kind but the result is far from the local standard. if you have options sleep anywhere else.

This resort is amazing. It is very nice from the inside with a lovely pool. My family room was on 2 floors. The kids slept downstairs while our room was upstairs (of course in the same room). It is decorated very nicely. Food was excellent. We even had dinner there where the price for a full dinner was quite cheap and we were totally full. Kids also had something to eat, as they also offer pizza and pasta. Breakfast was also very good and abundant.
