Falconara Charming House and Resort

We arrived at the hotel very late at night, but the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. By mistake, we walked into the restaurant opposite instead of the hotel, and the staff there kindly took us all the way to the hotel reception. It was such a lovely first impression. Even though it was late, the hotel had dinner waiting for us before showing us to our room, which was a really thoughtful touch. We stayed in Room 20, and it was absolutely exceptional. It was huge, split over two levels, with an enormous private terrace. The room looked exactly like the photos—if not better. The bathroom was very spacious, and we had beautiful views of the sea with the castle visible to the right. We didn't spend much time on the beach because I'm not really a beach person. Instead, we made the most of our amazing terrace. It was so large that it had two sun loungers, and we loved relaxing there, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the views in complete peace. It became one of our favourite parts of the stay. The hotel itself was beautiful, spotless and very relaxing. We also spent some time by the pool, enjoying a few drinks and the peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent, especially the croissants, which were absolutely delicious. We had dinner at the hotel a few times as well. There was a fantastic selection of seafood, so seafood lovers will be very happy. I don't eat much seafood myself, so my choices were a little more limited, but everything we had was fresh and well prepared. We hired a car and explored different parts of Sicily, which was well worth doing, but it was always a pleasure coming back to the hotel. What really made our stay special was the staff. Every single person we met was friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble. A little tip for future guests: if you're looking for a full-length mirror, don't worry—we thought there wasn't one at first! We eventually discovered it's attached to the bathroom door, so it's easy to miss :) I honestly can't fault this hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations, and I would happily stay here again. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sicily.

Everything was excellent, from the beginning to the end of the stay, with attention to all the details for the guests. Excellent food, excellent assistance, excellent entertainment, well done, congratulations.

We spent 4 days in this resort where we were welcomed with great kindness and professionalism by the reception staff right from the start. We appreciated the spacious, bright room that was always well cleaned by the ladies who work there. Food is always varied and of excellent quality. The animation girls are always nice and smiling, keeping our 13-year-old son company with games and sports activities. To note: the shower system was defective and some electrical outlets were not functioning. Details that you do not expect from a four-star resort.
