Hotel Da Peppe

Clean hotel a stone's throw from the sea; good breakfast and excellent hospitality. Very kind staff. We will be back!

Fine hotel if you don't make many demands. We really like the look of it all but, Bathroom had a urine smell and the shower cabin could be cleaned well. Bed was very hard but we slept fine. Breakfast was very boring, no variation at all and only 3x in 9 days something else added from a cake of which we could take 1x none because it was just finished and it was not replenished. Hotel is very noisy and we had the misfortune that early morning work was done in the neighborhood and there stayed with us a group of youth who made quite a lot of noise in the evening / night. What would belong to the hotel at the beach was not there, they were working there but unfortunately for us no beach beds or cozy food / drink there. This has not been communicated with us at all. If I had known that beforehand, I would have found another hotel. Because those beach beds and the terrace would have been a big plus for us. The check out was impersonal, we gave the key and paid the tax and that was it. There was no question whether it had been satisfactory there was nothing more said than just ciao and that was it.

Stay 8 days at Hotel Da Peppe. Room with balcony facing the back street where it was nice to relax in the shade and eat lunch at the warmest time of day. Good breakfast, youghurt and various grain/cornflakes, round pieces, bread, eggs, cheese and onlets, juices, coffee, tea and fruit. Fantastic beach with sunbeds and umbrella included, by picking up a ticket at the reception. Rooms were clean. Room service every day. We liked Letojanni as the city very well with calm and good atmosphere. Lots of restaurants, cosy cafes, options for take away. A good starting point for trips to Taormina, Castelmola and the Etna. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with questions. Recommended!
