La Casa Di Marzapane

We had a wonderful time at Villa Marzapane this summer. Located in a small village the villa provided absolutely everything we needed for our summer break. Spotlessly clean, spacious, beautiful pool over looking the countryside. Taormina was 25 minutes away and the beautiful Savoca just 10. Our host met us at the villa and explained everything to us that we needed to know. Additional seating in the living room would be helpful. He was always on had for questions and arrived bearing local pastries - delicious. Do not leave without visiting Cafe Sicilia for a traditional breakfast. Highly recommend.

Massimo was very sweet and kind and helpfull, but I did not like the location, Yes it is close to everything, but it just did not look and feel very good the Street it is in. The market is just Down the Street and the smell of fish and garbage is not good. You can not smell it in the room. There where other turist living in the apartement. And it could need some Update and renovation. But everything was very clean and the terrasse very nice. The aircon in the little tiny room for 4 people did not work as it should, so there was hot. The bunk bed was really bad!!! Get a new one... it was broken and really cheap. But this is of course very cheap instead of a more expensive hotel.
