La Dolce Vita Luxury House

Don't drive into the city. Park Via delle Mura (still in the square, next to the small fenced football field). Be careful, you may not meet many people at the reception. Everything is done by phone, including the front door code. It is quite luxurious in terms of interior decoration but make no mistake ... the welcome and breakfast are ultra minimalist. For breakfast, it's probably more generous in a nearby cafe. Despite the click of the decor, it was not the best accommodation of our trip.

Beautiful spacious room with a balcony overlooking the town and the valley below. Decor was stunning. The host was very kind and helpful. Location was great with free street and pay parking close by. A short stroll to the old town and many dining options. Highly recommend.

the building is hard to reach (you need to walk over 50 steps on a steep hill). The lobby / entrance smells like mold and does not seem to have been cleaned for a while. The room itself was clean but had not been maintained for a while. The room and bathroom were very dated (the pictures shown in the website are probably old). The A/C was not working much. We contacted the owned and he simply indicated that the previous tenant did not complain. After we exchanged messages (he did not want to be on site because of covid), he offered to come "later" but also indicated we had to be out of the place. The day was very hot and it was clear that the A/C needed maintenance so we left and the owner did not want to refund any money. The place is indeed cheap but there are many other places in town that are a lot better and not much more expensive. Avoid this place!!
