Sabbie D'Oro

We were unfortunately very disappointed with our stay at the Hotel Sabbie d’Oro. Already upon arrival, it was noticeable that the cleanliness in the room did not correspond to what one would expect from a hotel of this category. The cleaning was not carried out thoroughly during our stay, and overall the room did not make a well-maintained impression. The broken air conditioning was particularly annoying. This has not been working properly for over 24 hours, even though we and other hotel guests have pointed this out multiple times. Especially with the high temperatures in Sicily, a functioning air conditioning system is not a minor matter, but an important prerequisite for a pleasant stay. Despite our repeated complaints, they reacted only late, and a solution was a long time coming. The behavior of the beach staff also unfortunately negatively influenced our impression. We found the treatment to be unfriendly and not very guest-oriented. Especially on vacation, one expects respectful and friendly treatment of guests. The location of the hotel is to be highlighted positively. Nevertheless, we unfortunately cannot recommend the hotel due to the lack of cleanliness, the handling of the air conditioning issue, and the lack of friendliness in the service area.

Small but very nice hotel, located on the coast, very welcoming sea view room, abundant and quality breakfast, kind and available staff, ready to meet any type of request. Good value for money.

Everything perfect. Great staff. Great breakfast with fresh produce. Sweet and also salty fruits.
