Villa Nefele

Perfectly ok while hopping around Sicily. Cost about £110 per night which was too high in my opinion but the whole of Sicily is like that in July. Felt cosy though. Quiet downstairs with a bar so felt like a private lounge. AC worked fine, and a stone’s throw from the beach. Clean and friendly staff. Giardini Naxos on the other hand…. cheap and nasty package holiday destination. If you want Sicily don’t stay here unless you’re using it as a base for Etna, Taormina etc.

We spent a wonderful weekend in this hotel from June 11 to 14 and could not have asked for better. We traveled with family and found a facility equipped with all possible comforts, capable of meeting the needs of both adults and children. The rooms were impeccable and attended to in every detail. Super abundant breakfast! However, the true added value of the stay was Mrs. Patrizia. Her exceptional hospitality, kindness, and constant availability made us feel literally at home from the very first moment. We will definitely return! Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, my experience at Hotel Nefele was not positive. The rooms were very dirty: not just one, but two rooms before I managed to get an acceptable one, which was really disappointing and tiring. The staff, however, were always kind and visibly embarrassed by the situation, trying to remedy it as best they could. Nothing to say about this: availability and courtesy were not lacking. The area is quite crowded, but still convenient because it is close to both the sea and several restaurants. Overall, despite the kindness of the staff, I do not think I would return.
