our experience in May 2026 at this place was horrible. Not given room that was booked way back in Jan for a terrible room with a window looking out at a wall of a building. The shower was so small. I have discibed this place with another review on booking.com in which the truth was disscribing told. First we were not told where to get keys until we arrived to find out the keys were given to a resturant owner to give to us. We enter the building to find paper on doorway with arrow to our room. We opened door to a disgusting room in which was not what i booked. I text the owner and she said if we did"nt like it we could find something else, and we had not paid in which we did not know since we went through booking.com and payment was done. So i asked who can i pay. she said that her son was coming, He came and he was rude and disrespectful to my husband who is 74. Her son saw a bottle that we bought along our route and said (quote) your drinking. This bottle is to have night cap like every night at home. My husband was not drunk as he never does. Her son then yelled at us and said we could find another place, in which we said no. it would have impossible to find a place . So he then said get out. we again said no. By morning we decided to stick it out in this dump and make the best of it. On my review to booking.com i wrote this and more, and Lia responded calling us liers and saying that we were drunk and disturbing a quest. That is not true at all. If anything you are the lier in this horrible place. You misrepresented the room.( example) room with marble floors. Ha. it was a strip about a foot wide running below the bed. The view in which you said was a window facing a wall of a building. We had only stuck it out there because we could not get anything then. Do not stay at this place. horrific.

We were deceived. This is not what we booked. First off there was no one to greet us on arrival. No instructions were forwarded to us. We arrived at a big locked door. The owner left the keys and instructions with the restaurant next door. The wi-fi instructions posted on the wall in the suite were incorrect. With the help of another tenant we were able to connect to wi-fi and contact the host, who informed us she was unavailable as she was with her mother in hospital. If we didn't like the room we could leave no charge as we had not paid. The room was booked in January for our time in May. She would send her son down to deal with us. Again we were invited to leave if we didn't like the room. They had nothing else to offer. Not good enough. I expressed my dissatisfaction to him. This is not what we booked. He became hostile and e demanded that we leave, inferring I was causing trouble due to alcohol as there was a half bottle of brandy I had just unpacked from my luggage. We refused to leave. I was not about to start looking for another place to stay four nights in Palermo. I was not going to find myself with no bed at all for the night. We are both in our mid seventies. The room assigned to us was extremely spartan at best, suited for single occupancy only. Only ever saw the other rooms in pictures and look lovely. When we arrived there was a single lady in one of the the other rooms. Younger couple came after us and got a nice room. We have no complaints on anything else. Pleasant sitting area, library, and breakfast dining set up. For breakfast there was something for everyone. Sorry to say we would never trust them again. Anyone we books with this establishment better make sure of the room you get before arriving. Their answer to resolving problems is "You don't have to stay"if you don't like the room we gave you instead of the one you booked. Just walk away from your obligations.

A cave. At least our room. The water heater is not regulated and the shower is dwarf. I couldn't shower and I'm not too big. Regular breakfast. The person who prepares us breakfast good character and good availability to help you
