Residenza Wagner

Stayed here with the family — we had two rooms, my daughters in one and my partner and I in the other. Wonderful people, rooms, and location. 10/10.

A lovely family run hotel in Palermo. Great location. The family room was perfect for a family of 4. The breakfast was delicious every morning. We enjoyed our stay and all of the sights in Palermo.

I booked two nights at Residenza Wagner in June of 2026. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was lacking. There was cereal, but no milk. There was one small salt shaker offered for the entire room. There were seven people in the breakfast room but only three boiled eggs were available. The quality of the breakfast did not match the magnificence of the rooms. Additionally, we found out after booking the rooms that breakfast wouldn't be served until after we had to leave for the airport on our final morning. (Breakfast time is not listed on the website, and after traveling all the way around this island, where most hotels start breakfast service by 7:00, we were surprised to learn that breakfast is served at 8:30.) When we asked for a refund for the breakfast that we would not be able to eat, because we have to leave by 8:30, we were told that it was not possible. They offered to put cookies in our room. I asked for a cup of coffee instead and I was told it was not possible to get a coffee before 8:30. For what they charge, I would have expected them to be willing to offer a coffee. This is a strangely un-hospitable place.
