Il Gattopardo House

We were received at this property following some problems that occurred at the Catania airport. Arriving in the early hours of the morning, we found full availability from the owner and the staff. Cristina and Rosaria were exceptional, providing us with everything possible to refresh us and make us feel at home. A reference point for Catania to keep in high regard. The property is also located at the corner of the pedestrian area, a few steps from Piazza del Plebiscito and the square where the famous "litro" is located.

Very disappointing experience. I accidentally left two wedding dresses in the wardrobe and contacted the hotel immediately. I was initially told they had been found, but later informed they could not be located. The way this situation was handled was unacceptable and left me with no confidence in the hotel’s lost-and-found procedures. I expected much better care for guests’ belongings.

Located in the historic center of Catania, it offers excellent accommodation at reasonable prices. A good buffet breakfast is served in a room with period ceilings. The owner proved to be a very kind and helpful person; I highly recommend it.
