Le Dune

Voices are never forgotten, and that is exactly how it is when staying at a hotel like Le Dune in Catania; maximum helpfulness and courtesy. I have relatives at this hotel and I found maximum helpfulness; having very elderly people, I asked for the courtesy of accompanying my relatives to the beach and picking them up at lunchtime, and they immediately made themselves available, punctual and thoughtful. Finally, a hotel as it should be... the reception staff is very attentive and thoughtful. Thank you very much for your professionalism..

Hotel, near the airport and the center of Catania. Very kind staff, very good breakfast; the agreement with the beach and taking a nice swim in the pool are excellent. Very quiet! We will return!! I recommend it.

Pleasant 2-day stay (enough time to go visit Mount Etna, an hour away by car^^). Located along the beaches southeast of Catania, this hotel gives a mixed impression seen from the road; you must not miss the entrance to the frontage road on the right when arriving by car, and you must take the 3rd entrance offered, as the first 2 give an impression of abandonment that is sad to see. The hotel is located between a large unfinished building whose construction was visibly interrupted and never finished, and another construction site whose foundations were barely coming out of the ground; in short, we have seen better immediate surroundings. Nevertheless, once the right entrance is spotted, the welcome is warm, the staff is very friendly, and the rooms are basic but very clean and very functional. We also had lunch there one afternoon and the cuisine was typical and very good. High season means the pool (as seen in the photos) is very quickly taken by storm, and near the very busy road in front of the hotel, the Parisian ring road atmosphere is very well recreated there. Much prefer going to one of the private beaches across the way, where the hotel provides you with lounge chairs (included in the room price). The beach is perfect for little ones, but older ones will also find something to enjoy there.
