Miro Bed and Breakfast

I was welcomed by Ms. Lucia with professionalism, kindness, and friendliness, as well as by her staff. The property is well-cared for in its details and kept with love. Excellent breakfast.

We arrived at the B&B to find a surprise: our room did not have a bathroom in the room but rather in the hallway along with the other rooms. Surprise because it was never communicated during phone agreements. There were many inconveniences; first of all, even though the door said 'private bathroom of room number 2', there was no key to lock it from the outside, so anyone could access it. Then, of course, you had to pass through the hallway and the 'hall' of the B&B where you could encounter anyone coming out of the room, from other guests to staff preparing breakfasts or collecting money for the rooms. Moreover, in front of the room associated with the aforementioned bathroom was the hall of the B&B. So every morning, you could hear the ladies chatting who did not care at all about keeping their voices down. At the time of payment, we were shown a receipt with the same amount paid by our friends who had two other rooms (with bathrooms in the room), and at that point, we asked if the price was lower for our room since it did not have a bathroom in the room, but the lady cleverly replied, 'Yes, of course, a discount of €10 was applied,' but upon comparing with our friends, the price was identical. When we returned with our friends, the lady replied, 'I was mistaken, the price was the same.' So we presented our reasons and the service disruption that was NOT COMMUNICATED IN ADVANCE, which should have lowered the price of the room, but the lady maintained her position asserting that the bathroom was still private and that she communicated that the bathroom was not in the room because she does it automatically. I found the behavior quite clever and inappropriate. In the end, after various insistences, she placed a €5 bill on the counter as a consolation, but obviously, it cannot in any way compensate for the service disruption provided and the lack of transparency. I strongly advise against it.

We stayed at Easter with two girls aged nine and 3. We found the B&B Miro the closest thing 940 km (from our house) to a house. We felt welcomed and pampered. The girls were wonderful with the girls too. Prepared and always ready to give us advice on what to visit and see. Very close to the city center, even at night we felt safe. The breakfast was hearty and the structure clean. We'll be back. A hug from Mati and Cati.
