UNA PALACE CATANIA

I stayed with my husband at the Palace Catania for one night in the middle of August prior to our departure from the airport. It's in a great location in the middle of the town's main shopping street, a walking distance from the beautiful cathedral of Catania and surrounding restaurants/gelateria etc Although the hotel is near restricted traffic zones, you can bypass these by aiming for Piazza Stesicoro and turning right onto Via Etnea where the hotel is located. We parked our car in front of the hotel and reception arranged valet parking for 25 euros in their nearby secure, underground garage. We had a lovely welcome from reception staff, especially Alessandra, a well-appointed and clean room, and really enjoyed drinks and dinner at its rooftop restaurant with a view of Mount Etna, erupting while we were there! The buffet breakfast the next day on the ground floor was excellent. Service was warm and smiling. The hotel is elegant but not formal in an off-putting way. Getting our car back was easy. Would definitely return to the Palace if we are in Catania again.

Hands down the most extraordinary experience I have had in recent times! Following the cancellation of my flight, the airline offered to guarantee me a stay at this magnificent property while waiting for the next available flight. It would be an understatement if I limited the description of my experience to "excellent hotel." A Palace is more than impeccable cleanliness, elegant design, or excellent services. What sets you apart is the maximum availability and sincere interest in the guest, which made me feel truly at home. A special mention goes to Virgilio and Ornella, whose warmth and support were invaluable. I hope to return to you soon, a warm greeting to all the staff!

My experience there was very nice. I recommend it to anyone. Staff member. Gabriella helped us a lot with taxis. Anything we needed she was there for us we were overcharged by a taxi cab and she helped us. I recommend this hotel very clean and very good team member members thank you Gabriella. the best.
