There are places that are remembered for their beauty, and others that are remembered above all for the people. The Hotel Baia del Capitano belongs to both categories. We had a truly pleasant stay, but what made the difference was the staff's welcome: professional, attentive, and always available. A special thanks goes to the manager and to Francesco, Giuseppe, Elisa, Emanuele, Adam, Giacinto, and Mimmo. Each of them, with their own smile, kindness, and helpfulness, made us feel welcomed as guests and not as mere customers. It is rare to find a team capable of making every person feel at ease with naturalness and authentic cordiality. Thank you for having contributed to making our vacation special. We will gladly return and will recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to spend a stay dedicated to relaxation, quality, and, above all, human warmth. See you soon and heartfelt thanks!

Reviews are always made based on how much you pay and how many stars the hotel has. From a four-star hotel, I would expect something better. The structure is nice, but in the rooms that are not inside the hotel, there is little soundproofing. Fortunately, they were clean, and there was a nice bathroom with a comfortable shower. A nice minibar. Impeccable reception. The young ladies are very kind and very professional. Although the breakfast was well-stocked, it was poorly replenished, as we found some dishes finished despite it being nine in the morning, and they were not restocked. Poor professionalism of the waiters. Overall, I cannot give a higher score than I have given, because being a four-star hotel, as I mentioned, one would expect much more.

We spent three nights in this hotel and found both good and bad points. The room was spacious and clean and had a fridge, kettle and hair dryer. The outside pool was lovely - except for the constant bang bang 'music' which the barman played constantly for his own amusement! We wanted to relax by the pool after a day's sightseeing, but this was impossible due to the repetitive banging music noise. This was mentioned to the receptionist who promised to 'sort it out' - but failed to do so. The TV had over 100 programmes in different languages - but NONE in English (not even BBC world news). Each day, the receptionist promised to get 'someone to sort it', but again, nothing was done! Breakfasts were buffet style and had lots of choice, but the evening meals were very limited with little choice. There was no water on the table, but purified tap water was provided - at 3 Euros for a small bottle!! not what you expect in a 4 star hotel!
