Borgo Rio Favara

Terrible experience at Borgo Rio Favara. We stayed at the end of September and, given the many positive reviews, we expected something completely different. Unfortunately, we were deeply disappointed. The food was one of the main problems: very repetitive, poorly prepared, and, what is truly unacceptable, the pasta was raw several times. The rooms were not at all up to expectations: we found a strong unpleasant odor, similar to sewage, which made the environment quite unpleasant. Not to mention the entertainment, which was practically nonexistent. In a facility of this type, we expected activities and entertainment, but instead there was very little or nothing. Honestly, we find it hard to understand all these positive reviews. Our experience was terrible and the relationship between expectations and reality was truly disappointing. I do not recommend it and I certainly would not return. Before booking, I recommend carefully evaluating the reviews and not letting yourself be influenced only by the positive ratings.

Fantastic entertainment. The guys are amazing: Sara, Lorenzo, Valentina, the guy from Milan, all truly... Cleaning was also OK. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but the food was too repetitive, scarce, and unsuitable. For the children, there were only nuggets, fries, and those pre-made fried cutlets. Plain pasta with sauce or pesto for adults and children, alwayyyys. I had to ask for grilled chicken slices; never a burger or a more elaborate pasta, baked pasta, anelletti, or a pizza. Menu too rushed; I understand it was September, but we paid for full board and ended up paying extra to eat out.

The animation team is very talented, always available, and very entertaining. As for the cleanliness between the pool and the stage where they put on the show in the evening, it leaves something to be desired. Then, as far as the food is concerned, it is a total zero.
