Great location, substandard room in size but clean. I had problems with hot water. The very arrogant owner. Would not stay there again

Placement is the only real strength. Hygiene is sufficient, appreciable. Some rooms are cramped. Showering is a risk: a non-slip carpet is urgent, and waiting for hot water is a systemic discomfort that depends on the simultaneous use of other guests. A modern B&B cannot afford these hydraulic gaps. The foreign owner manages the business with a glacial coldness that turns into pure arrogance as soon as legitimate criticisms are raised (such as the shower problem or basic safety). His detached upbringing is not a hallmark, it is an obstacle to hospitality. You look for heat you find the rigor inopportune. You look for availability, you get the presumption that you are always right. In Sicily, humanity and resolution are expected, not lessons in Stalinist bon ton.
