It was a pleasant stay, the week flew by..We couldn't have chosen a better Hotel than this..staff always available and kind..the owners attentive to every detail…the cuisine, what can I say, amazing, the breakfasts super well-stocked every day with typical Lampedusan pastries… impeccable cleanliness, a Hotel to recommend with your eyes closed…

Good evening, I read Ms. Irene's completely negative review regarding her experience at the hotel and I am STUNNED. This is my fifth consecutive year in Lampedusa staying at Hotel Martello, and as always, the welcome from both the staff and the owners is exceptional, as they are always super welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spotless, the linens are changed daily, and in particular, the breakfasts are always rich and varied with top-quality products presented with elegance and originality. A location to recommend. Ida

I am responding to Ms. Irene's review as a guest of Hotel Martello for years now. First of all, I would like to ask Ms. Irene if she is sure she stayed at Hotel Martello, because I refute everything! The staff and owners are adorable, courteous, and always kind and helpful, always ready to fulfill every request. The rooms and the premises are consistent with what is reported on the website and social media. Top-notch cleanliness! Breakfast is out of this world! Linens are clean and changed daily! The property does not deserve any of the criticisms raised by the lady.
