Hotel Riva del Sole

I had a truly pleasant stay. The hotel is very welcoming, clean, and well-maintained, and I had a great time. The staff was kind, helpful, and always attentive to the guests' needs, The restaurant also really deserves a compliment: excellent cuisine, tasty and well-presented dishes, with quality ingredients. A pleasant environment and impeccable service. Heartfelt thanks also to the head waiter Angelo Ciminato! It was a very positive experience and I would definitely return gladly!!!

Historic hotel, dated but very well maintained; upon my arrival, the manager and the reception staff welcomed me and took care of my luggage. Very cute and comfortable room, I found the room clean, even if it wasn't cleaned very well during the week... the dining room staff were kind, courteous, and polite; the only negative note was a girl who managed the breakfasts in the morning, whom I found a bit rude (as if we were bothering her), she didn't even say hello to our good morning. The food is a 10, everything is delicious with various choices; I did the half-board service. The hotel is located right next to the center and in front of the sea; in 7 days I never had to move the car, the parking is free. The beach is the sore point; apart from the fact that the space is very small and we were all packed together with our lounge chairs, the staff is very rude, almost as if they are doing you a favor by hosting you in their establishment; furthermore, the agreement made with the hotel that I was to receive a 20% discount on the total payment was not honored. Apart from the beach, I will gladly return to the Riva del Sole hotel, hoping precisely that by 2027 this management by the municipality of Cefalù regarding the beaches will have changed.

Hotel in an excellent location. The manager is an exquisite person, as is the entire reception staff; the kitchen/dining room staff is excellent, breakfast is well-managed in the morning, room cleanliness is mediocre. The Lido Angeli del Mare beach service needs to be reviewed; little space and prices different from those agreed upon. Despite these slight oversights, the Hotel Riva del Sole is a perfect 4 out of 5 stars.
