Palazzo Maria

Cefalu is gorgeous and this was a fantastic way to see it. Our suite - with two balconies over the square and right beside the cathedral - was fabulous, full of quirky details/furniture, a well-equipped kitchen (we were a bit tired of eating out all the time after a week in Palermo, and this kept us in budget!) Really extraordinary place to stay - the square is quiet early in the morning and you can get into the astonishing interior of the Cathedral at 8am and be on your own. If you want this room, do specify - it's called Federico. We started in a different one which, though spacious, nice and quickly, didn't have the fabulous aspect. Emanuela and Nikolay were also extremely helpful.

It just can't get better than this! An apartment on the main square in Cefalù looking onto the Duomo and the square, beautiful by day, magical by night. A few steps away from the main street full of interesting shops and a couple of minutes away from the beach and all the restaurants, bars and more shops. In fact it was very easy to take shopping back to the apartment and go back out to the beach or for lunch or dinner. A highlight was stopping in the piazza Duomo for a late drink, after having had dinner elsewhere, knowing that slipping into bed after a packed, enjoyable day is just a couple of paces away. It was one of the best places we've ever stayed at when on holiday, and we travel a lot. It is very spacious, extremely clean, comfortable beds and sofa, efficient ac, clean linen and towels, and lovely ornate antique pieces of furniture to give the place character! We enjoyed our stay here and can't wait to be back!

Amazing place with breathtaking views of the cathedral! I got married in June in Cefalù and I, my family and my closest friends slept there the evening before the wedding and the following night; I have to say that I couldn't have hoped for better, the rooms were spotless and spacious, the light was fantastic and there was a spectacular view. the building inside is very elegant and the lift also facilitated the guests with their suitcases and all the operators (e.g. photographers and hairdressers) who were going up and down with the equipment! Finally, Emanuela and her brother (who manage the structure) were very kind and helpful not only during the days of their stay in the structure, but also in the previous months (when taken from the wedding house we contacted them several times for the various doubts that came to us ). Truly everything perfect!
