Caposkino Park Hotel

Beautiful location on the sea, the sea-side rooms have a fantastic view of the beach of Gioiosa Marea. The breakfast lacks organization, the lady in charge of the dining room is not suitable for dealing with customers, a piece of advice: move her to another part of the property. Fantastic, the person at the reception was very helpful, polite, and professional. Another point to improve is the bad smell coming up from the shower drain. Excellent cleaning, perfect air conditioning, and the minibar is convenient and excellent (I would include two small bottles of water as a welcome). As for the small beach bar, it should be upgraded with more choices for the customer, in your economic interest; slushies, toasted sandwiches, chips, cookies—a small investment but certainly appreciated by the clientele. Small things that will certainly give you an extra boost. Thank you Roberto

Very disappointing experience Unfortunately, the stay at Capo Skino was well below expectations. Starting with the dining room staff, whom we often found rude and unhelpful, to the general quality of the facility, the issues were numerous. The rooms are not very clean and neglected, and during our stay, we also encountered the presence of bed bugs, an absolutely unacceptable problem in an accommodation facility. Added to this is a persistent smell of sewage, which made the stay even more unpleasant. The dining room service is extremely slow, with decidedly excessive wait times. The pool also did not seem adequately clean to us, and, more generally, there is an evident lack of maintenance of the facility, which appears neglected in several places. The animation is very basic and not very engaging, with a rather limited offering. Overall, we believe there are several aspects to improve, especially regarding cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance, service organization, and staff professionalism. Unfortunately, it was not an experience we feel we can recommend.

Budget hotel, very expensive service in terms of nerves. >8 days with 2 small children (2 and 4 years old). \"Family friendly\" concept unknown. Pasta for a 2-year-old child requested 20 min before the kitchen opened? Answer: no. Unless it is slop. Result: children who eat lunch at 2 PM and dinner at 9 PM after a day at the beach. > Kids' menu: 8 days the same, frozen breaded cutlet from a bag + pasta with tomato sauce. Zero variation. >Entertainment: they do what they can but it cannot be defined as such. Dining room staff perpetually annoyed. Peak: "better, that way she'll be hungrier" said to my 4-year-old daughter who was waiting for her first course. Only positive note: the shuttle driver, the only human and kind person in 8 days. Dirty pool, old rooms and smelling of sewage. Ants present in the restaurant dining room.
