We had booked an executive room but the room we got (307) was small, dingy and hot. The aircon was noisy. The shower room was more of a corridor with facilities laid out in a line, albeit new. My wife described the welcome as surly. We didn't stay so I can't comment on the breakfast. The manager offered us an alternative room or an upgrade on checking out but we said it was too late. You shouldn't be allocated a poor room and then have to ask for an upgrade. The entrance is up a flight of stairs and the lift up another flight of stairs so if you have mobility issues please consider this.

We were in Palermo only in passing both on the way there and on the way back from our vacation in Sicily; the property is almost dilapidated and in need of a major renovation. We were given a room where the air conditioner sounded like a tractor and the split flap was literally held up with tape; upon our complaint, we were given one of their best rooms where, however, the air conditioning was lacking, and with the August heat in Palermo....... For the rest, if anyone has mobility issues, do not even think about booking this hotel; there are even stairs to take the elevator from the reception, in addition to the staircase at the entrance just to get to the reception. The only positive notes were the courtesy of the staff and the breakfast, where, however, I saw a peach being rudely snatched from a guest's hands because they wanted to take it out of the dining room. The location is just decent, even though it is quite close to the center.

The published photos do not correspond at all to the rooms present in the facility. Our room was a 2-star, to be generous: old and poorly maintained furniture, non-functioning air conditioner, and a toilet flush that barely worked, just a trickle. I pointed out all these problems to the girl at the reception, but, despite the situation and the inconvenience encountered, I was still charged the tourist tax. A completely different situation from what is shown in the images. I expected something completely different from what was advertised.
