La Grevillea

A great find. We gad the pool to ourselves and while our hosts had no English they were friendly and accommodatiing. A comfortable room although the shower space was tiny. A splendid and hearty breakfast. There is plenty of parking and the place is easy to find.

The structure looks very good but the managers are elderly and unorganized people, they would need young staff. Breakfast was not a buffet and if you arrived late you would find cold coffee and milk. Furthermore, the room was connected to a neighbor, the connecting door was covered by a wardrobe but you could hear everything. I couldn't pay with a debit card.

Shared with my partner a lovley, clean and airy room with bathroom. Giuseppe and his wife were great hosts who accommodated our needs - breakfast was plentiful and we got to choose how early in the morning we wanted to eat. Unfortunately the restaurant does not seem to be active for lunches and dinners, but there are a few good restaurants in walking distance by the sea so it was not a problem. The pool area was absolutely stunning and super-clean. Transport without a car may be problematic as we saw virtually no public transport options in the area. Luckily we were driving. Location is slightly out of the way but still close enough (by motorway) to drive to Catania, Taormina, La Isola Bella, etc.
