B&B U Marchisi

I cannot say that I had a bad time. Quiet place (if it weren't for the adjacent house where the owners live, who have dinner on the terrace every evening and you can hear all their conversations). Cute and very clean rooms. Breakfast is not a buffet but served at the table; good but not very varied (savory options completely absent). So far so good! But the outdoor space in front of the rooms and the pool is truly unacceptable. Floor dirty with pigeon droppings and various stains of spilled food for the entire period we were at the property (7 days). As soon as you enter the property, the first thing you see are three plastic drying racks with towels and swimsuits hung out (perhaps they should be placed in hidden corners). Tables never cleaned with plastic covers and chairs without cushions; ashtrays on the tables perpetually full of cigarette butts and never cleaned. In the morning at breakfast, the floor was stained and full of leaves. Lounge area around the pool placed there without any lighting and not highlighted. In various corners of the property, buckets and brooms with dustpans in plain sight, rags and closed umbrellas leaning out in the open; trash cans placed immediately outside the breakfast room. In short, it is a property with enormous potential but kept very poorly (except for the rooms).

We were in our element, could not ask for more. My husband & I had a wonderful time we were so relaxed, peaceful & serene ambience. The room was lovely, pool area, garden & terrace very nice. We also had a shared kitchen which was ideal. Breakfast was nice typical italian with daily fresh pastries 🙂 Nicola and his staff are very nice and helpful. If you would like some peace & quiet this is your place to go 😉

Perfect location, hospitality, and courtesy. Nicola is an excellent host. Beautiful, clean, cool rooms equipped with every comfort. Good, quality breakfast. Far from the noise and with the scent of flowers. The pool is a PLUS, but the sea is close, beautiful, and clean. Greta is also great at pampering the guests.
