Bed & Breakfast Diana

The actual B & B is on a narrow street just around the corner from the central fountain of Diana. Due to the historical aspect of the structure, it has several stairs to surmount going in and out daily. Our Juliet balcony looked down this narrow street with bars, restaurants and horrible noise late one night. Fortunately, it was only one weekend night and we rested well the other days. The room was spacious and comfortable and I appreciated the "break room" with the expresso maker and cookies each day. Our breakfast was around the corner at the cafe but it did not open until 7 am. We used one day's voucher ahead of time to take away when we had an earlier start. Cafe voucher included hot beverage, juice and a pastry. The pastries were so delicious. Our host hooked us up with a reliable taxi driver who charged us a fair price for rides to/from the Archaeology area and to the train station VERY early when we departed the city. The location was central to everything we wanted to do and see and I would recommend staying here. Only "ding" was for the night of noise...a reality.

Fantastic location, clean and attractive rooms, friendly and helpful owners. We loved having granita each morning for breakfast. This is a great find. Do know that it is up two flights of stairs, but if you don’t have a problem with that, then this place is really great. Thanks to the owners for a wonderful stay.
