Bio-Agriturismo La Casa di Melo

We spent an absolutely wonderful 48 hours at Casa di Melo for our first wedding anniversary, and we could not have dreamed of a better place to celebrate this occasion in peace, in a truly enchanting setting. Everything was perfect, and above all, we were not disappointed by anything. So much so that we did not want to leave for even a second, as the place invites you to slow down, enjoy yourself, and disconnect. We travel a lot and are used to staying in beautiful hotels, but we have rarely met a team so attentive and caring. From the reception to the servers, at any time of day, everyone is lovely, available, and sincerely attentive to the guests' well-being. It is a real strong point of the establishment. Our room, the Spinagallo, was magnificent: tastefully decorated, perfectly integrated into the spirit of the place, with a superb panoramic view and above all absolute calm. A true haven of peace. Special mention for the breakfast: extremely hearty, delicious, varied and composed of fresh, quality products. A real joy to start the day. The pool is also breathtaking: large, magnificent, relaxing, with enough space for everyone to fully enjoy the calm and beauty of the place. If we had to mention a small point for improvement, it would be regarding the room. The superb panoramic view implies the absence of shutters, replaced by blinds. Therefore, one must accept waking up with the daylight. Being used to sleeping in complete darkness, this was a bit unsettling for us. But that obviously remains a detail considering the beauty of the room and the setting. A small decor note as well, very personal and which only reflects our opinion: we would find the pool area even more beautiful with a few small coffee tables made of natural materials rather than the pink plastic crates. We understood and appreciated the approach of reusing these crates, especially for harvesting fruits and vegetables, but from a purely aesthetic point of view, a few more natural elements would perhaps integrate even better into this exceptional setting. In any case, we will return with pleasure, that is certain. And why not make this wonderful place a tradition for each of our wedding anniversaries? Thank you to the whole team for this timeless moment. A rare address, which we recommend with our eyes closed. Alexandra and Joffrey

Such a beautiful place - we loved every minute. The team looked after us so well and also helped us to book a wine tasting day nearby and a trip up Etna with an experienced guide. Amazing food ( especially the breakfasts) , comfortable rooms with balconies overlooking the lemon groves and gardens, very attentive staff and close to local amenities. We would love to come back and cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Very friendly staff, clean room, beautiful grounds and excellent food. We felt completely comfortable!
