Henry's House is located on the southern edge of Ortigia peninsula in the historic center. This means that car traffic is very limited, so we chose to park at the northern edge and walk for 15 minutes in scorching heat. But the struggle was easily forgotten as we entered the magical realm of Henry's House. The staff was very friendly and we got a nice room upgrade, with a magnificent sunset view of the bay. The location is perfect with an inviting city pulse, right in the middle of the historic heart of Syracuse. Don't miss the excellent breakfast on the panoramic terrace. There's only a few rooms available and the hotel has a lot of character, so it feels like staying at someone's house. Henry, I'll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Henry’s House Hotel. We booked one Junior Suite with beautiful sea views and one standard room, and both were lovely. The rooms were thoughtfully furnished with classic furniture pieces and carefully chosen artwork, creating a beautiful, eclectic atmosphere. The bed linen and towels were also of an exceptionally high standard. The entire team was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive, from reception to the breakfast and housekeeping staff. Each morning, a generous breakfast spread was offered, featuring excellent-quality Italian-inspired ingredients, with lovely staff serving freshly prepared coffees. Our favourite place for breakfast was the hotel’s beautiful sea-facing terrace. The hotel is perfectly positioned in a slightly quieter part of Ortigia while remaining extremely central and within easy walking distance of everything. The terraces are also a wonderful place to watch the beautiful sunsets. A charming hotel with genuine character, warm hospitality and an unforgettable setting. We had a truly lovely stay and would happily return.
