DEI COLONIALI

Experience ruined by the terrible handling of an irregular double charge for the stay. I notice the error after leaving the property, I contact the hotel immediately and they confirm that it is their mistake. From there, however, only silence: no response to emails, constant phone calls, and evasive or arrogant answers like "you'll get your money". After a week of reminders, the gentleman at the reception even goes so far as to answer me in an ironic and mocking way: "Ma'am, why are you in such a hurry to get this money? It's just a few hundred euros, not millions, right?!" Unacceptable, unprofessional, and disrespectful behavior. The refund arrived only after several days and numerous reminders. The problem is not the amount, but the way the customer is treated. Absolutely not recommended.

Unpleasant experience. We made a mistake at the time of booking (double booking for one of the 3 travelers, resulting in 4 rooms instead of 3). We immediately called the hotel and sent a message to explain the situation. However, the establishment refused any refund. Upon arrival, we attempted to negotiate, but to no avail. When we demanded access to the 4 paid rooms, the manager/receptionist switched from a sweet demeanor to an unpleasant one, threatening to charge us for 3 additional rooms. This type of incident is not good publicity for the establishment, and a more commercial approach would be beneficial for the longevity of the place… It is also worth noting: no hot water on the first morning and a broken showerhead in one of the rooms. It's a shame, because aside from the above, the review could have been quite positive.

Spacious room, large bathroom, and everything clean and functional. Very good breakfast. Excellent welcome. 10 minutes on foot from Ortigia. Recommendation
