Hotel Sorella Luna Siracusa

The B&B is located in a beautiful period building, the room is spacious with a high ceiling and exposed beams. You can find parking on the street; in case there is no space, at the end of the street there are parking lots about 100 meters away. Walking along Via Umberto I, which is full of bars and shops, you arrive at Ortigia in 800 meters. The owners are very friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast and cleanliness of the premises. Comfortable mattresses. The archaeological park is about a kilometer and a half away. Excellent experience, the only negative thing is the bathroom... Spacious but it would need a refresh/renovation

I stayed twice at this B&B one week apart. The first time I had a double room, the second a single. Both rooms were clean, tidy, well appointed and quiet. The beds were comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was continental style with a good choice of food available. Check-in was very well handled (I checked in after reception was closed, 8pm), with clear instructions having been sent to me via WhatsApp. The owner was friendly and helpful on both stays.

If you are looking for a great hotel at a reasonable price located halfway between the archaeological sites of Syracuse and the island of Ortigia, and 5 minutes from the train station, you are in the place. Clean rooms great breakfast and very friendly staff, only lack, but it is not the fault of the hotel, the parking space but here in Syracuse is quite problematic everywhere.
