Andromaco Palace

Andromaco Palace Hotel might give you other imaginations than the fact is. At least we expected something else. On arrival late afternoon there was no English speaking employee at the reception which gave us a challenge when it came to information about where the hotel parking was. The elderly lady in the reception was kind and tried to be helpful, however only in Italian. There is not much palace in this hotel: the room and the batroom was old, towels were worn out and there was no safe as we were informed beforehand. The heating system in the room was heating part of the room only and in general the hotel including the breakfast room was very cold. We decided to skip our second night here as it was too cold. We are sure that this could be a lovely 3 star hotel during summer but it can not be recommended during winter.

This hotel is set in a quiet residential area, with a lovely stroll into town, though it is a hilly, my 80 year old mother made the 10-15 minute walk with ease. We had a triple air conditioned room on the lower ground floor just a few steps down to the gorgeous pool with a poolside bar serving cold drinks and snacks, (not open all the time, but one only had to ask) Breakfast which was included, was served every morning by the pool by a truly lovely waitress who catered to our every need. All the staff were very helpful and most spoke some English. A shuttle bus was available every day for the beach at a cost of 10Euros per person, this included sun loungers, umbrellas and use of a pool, there was also a bar and restaurant there serving reasonably priced drinks and food. I cannot rate my experience of this hotel and the staff highly enough

Just spent a week here with 2 friends . The owners and staff at the hotel are so friendly and they do everything possible to help you enjoy your stay . Patricia at breakfast was always happy to see you and served coffee to you . The pool was lovely and everything so clean . A lovely place to stay a bit of a walk to the bars and restaurants and shops. So if you have mobility issues the location may be a problem.
