It is my second time at this hotel, separated by several years. It is a typically Sicilian old palace and obviously it is not easy to keep everything impeccable. The gardens and the views are wonderful. The perfect location for walking Taormina. You can arrive by car and it has valet parking. The pool is beautiful. The room was spacious and well-equipped and being on the back side, it was very quiet. The breakfast was very varied and of high quality. The staff is very kind. For me it is a great option

Elegance, nature, beauty, history, courtesy. This is the Hotel Excelsior Palace in Taormina for us. Thanks to Mrs. Rosella who welcomes us every year, to Mrs. Angela who pampers us at breakfast and in the splendid park with the pool, and to the entire Staff who makes our stays delightful.

We have just returned from Excelsior Palace hotel. The staff are all amazing, especially Rosy in the restaurant and bar.Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent with lots of choices, excellent sea food, daily specials. Nothing disappointed. Daily breakfast had a vast array of choices. The room was comfortable and had a balcony with a view over Etna and the sea. The pool area and grounds are exceptional, towels provided, amazing views. We always got a sunbed. Would highly recommend Close to town but a quiet oasis.
