Truly beautiful and functional hotel.. breakfast and pool exceptional, a special round of applause to Rosario, at reception, who was super efficient in solving organizational problems that arose, making us have a truly splendid weekend! ♥️

We stayed at Hotel Splendid in Aug 2026 and we were charged twice for our room and we still haven’t received the refund back. This has been over three weeks now.

Stayed one night in August in a family room. The location was good but up a hill in a very narrow street so bit dangerous if walking with suitcases. I asked 3 times to have a quiet room on a higher floor and ended up having a first floor facing the street. When complained and showed the email promising the expected room, I have been told that they are changing the booking systems and all the previous communication is pretty much gone. We had to wait for our room for a long time. The room itself was quite nice, big enough with 2 very small balconies (however the door was impossible to open fully). Plenty of toiletries in the bathroom, big shower, clean towels etc. The pool was nice but cold and very deep (around 2m) pretty much the entire length, so only for good swimmers. However there was a bathroom with a shower and clean towels besides the pool, which was a nice touch. Overall a bit disappointing for a 4 star hotel.
