⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hotel Villa Greta was one of the highlights of our time in Taormina. From the moment you arrive, the hotel has this authentic Sicilian charm that makes it feel special and completely different from a typical hotel stay. It feels warm, intimate, and homey, with so much character throughout the property. The views are absolutely incredible. Being perched toward the top of Taormina gives you beautiful panoramic views of the town, the surrounding Sicilian landscape, and Mount Etna in the distance. Sitting outside and taking in those views was easily one of my favorite parts of the stay. The location is also perfect. You’re high enough above the main area that it feels peaceful and quiet, away from the crowds, but still close enough to walk down and enjoy the heart of Taormina. What I loved most was how genuine the hotel felt. The stonework, terraces, greenery, architecture, and little details give it a true Sicilian personality. It doesn’t feel overly polished or commercial — it feels authentic, charming, and welcoming, almost like you’re staying in someone’s beautiful home in Sicily. If you’re coming to Taormina and want somewhere with incredible views, character, peace, and a real sense of place, Hotel Villa Greta is special. 5/5 — I would absolutely stay here again. 🇮🇹❤️

Where do I even start with this hotel? My partner and I have just stayed for 3 nights and we had the best time. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed but the best thing was the view. Waking up to Mount Etna and overlooking the sea was just incredible. The staff were so nice, they couldn’t do enough for us. We were able to leave our suitcase there before check in whilst we headed out. The hotel has 3 beach clubs that they work with and are in Mazzeo, Mazzarò and Giardini Naxos, which all do return shuttle and sun loungers/umbrella. We did Mazzeo which was €18 each and was a quiet beach bar and did the Giardini Naxos that was €40 each with towels and a prosecco each. Although, the Giardini Naxos beach bar seems expensive but it is €30 one way from the train station to the hotel, the roads are not straight and all uphill. Where the hotel is located it is 15 minutes from Taormina centre by walking and on the way up it is steep with some stairs. You can get interbus, red tourist bus and the green line bus that will all stop near or outside the hotel. We recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Villa Greta was an excellent choice! Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist, who explained all the services of the facility and supported us in the following days with valuable advice on what to visit and how to get around. We also greatly appreciated the bottle of sparkling wine offered in the room as a welcome. The room was spotless and had a spectacular view: on one side the coast, on the other the volcano. The facility is very well organized for both excursions to the volcano and the nearby beaches, thanks to a convenient round-trip transfer service with flexible schedules chosen by the customer. A noteworthy point is the location: the hotel is not in the chaos of the center, ensuring a much more affordable cost, but it is very well connected. Through the internal stairs of the facility, you can reach the center of Taormina in just a few minutes. Highly recommended for an excellent and stress-free vacation!
