Almaran Bed & Breakfast

The room that was reserved for us was indecent, a sort of abandoned apartment, with old and dusty photos and books, with a view of the street on the first floor where you couldn't even see the light. It absolutely did not correspond to the photos published on the various sites. The host was textbook rude. Price-quality ratio (very high) unjustifiable...too bad we had no alternatives. Highly not recommended!!!

B&B marked as a 3-star hotel but it deserves two stars. Superior triple room, with closet and nightstands that need fixing, soft mattress, very small en-suite bathroom in need of maintenance. Owner who causes anxiety with messages about the lack of water. Noisy room near the bar and the port. Owner who writes to my partner advising us to remove the review, he described us as liars. I have his photos and messages. Reviews are meant to tell the good and the bad, criticism should be accepted and can be constructive.

Arrived as a couple on Saturday late in the evening, the kindness of the owner in welcoming us with a bottle of cold water for the night. The super triple room with an en-suite bathroom unfortunately has a closet with an unusable door, a soft mattress, and a very small bathroom. Change of sheets or towels every two or three days. In the evening after 12:00 AM when the bars close, they throw glass bottles into the bins under the window and at 6:00 AM Hera passes by, then the ships start sounding their horns...you don't sleep much, it is a strategic location for going to the islands next to the port but it has its pros and cons. The owner messaging me during the day about the water crisis in Trapani...it makes me anxious! On vacation, I have to worry about whether I will have water to take a shower in the evening... Breakfast included a basic croissant and a coffee or a tea or cappuccino at the bar he sends you to. The courtesy of keeping our suitcases at the reception on the day of departure until 3:00 PM, leaving the room free at 10:00 AM.
