B&B Trapani Granveliero

We had two “ delux double rooms, though I wouldn’t call them entirely delux. It is not an incredibly old building but it does have small rooms and hard beds. On the plus side, Giovanni carried our luggage upstairs, there were jugs and tea sachets in the rooms, and the aircon worked well Pauline was delightful and her helper made nice hot chocolate for breakfast. The local croissant/ cornetto were delicious. Great location as well

The room was unusable, floors dirty with sand, the only air conditioning left on maximum for an entire day did not cool the room at all, in the bathroom you could not open the window because outside there was the external unit of the air conditioner and air at more than 50 degrees was coming in, the trash was not taken out which caused an invasion of ants, I found a hair in the food during breakfast, the parking lot is located 2 kilometers away if you are lucky, the keys are managed very poorly, another guest locked the entrance door from the outside that led to 3 rooms including mine, and we remained locked inside.

We just enjoyed our 4 day stay in Granveliero B&B . On our late evening arrival, we have been kindly greeted by our host Giovanni and his lovely mum Paolina and have been given a bottle of chilled water which was very welcomed on a hot evening. We’re a family of four and had the 3rd floor apartment with two interchangeable rooms, kitchenette and one bathroom. The rooms are very airy and have been decorated to high standards, while keeping the traditional ceiling paintings. Breakfast bar was topped up continuously to keep meats, cheese fresh . ,it was a good variety. We would’ve enjoyed some boiled eggs and few tomatoes /veg to go with the breakfast. The coffee was exceptionally good and was served by the host. The location of the B&B is fantastic, just a short walk into Trapani center .We didn’t rent a car on this trip ,but there is no parking. Giovanni was excellent at communicating even before our arrival and was very helpful with booking a taxi from and to the airport ,also booking a boat trip for us for a fabulous day out! We can highly recommend the boutique B&B and the hosts!.We will definitely return to this lovely city! Thank you!
