Mediterraneo Hotel

The hotel was right off of the port. No need for a pick-up service as you walk right from the port. It is a drive from the airport, though. It was a tad confusing because the hotel is called Port Hotel from the facade, but it was the correct one. The location was right in town and within walking distance of various restaurants, stores, and other hotels. Don't expect a "beautiful" scenic view from the rooms though. While the hotel toots 4-stars, it definitely was not four stars. The beds seemed to be in pretty good shape, but the furniture seemed worn. The TV in our room was not flat screen, as said by the website. There was functional AC though, and the rooms were very clean!! From reading other reviews, I was expecting a really crummy and old bathroom, but our bathroom seemed recently renovated and was pretty large in size. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful and fairly knowledgeable. Overall, a decent find if you are looking to travel on a budget. It wasn't anything nice, or worth talking about, but I would stay there again in the future as a budget-traveler.
