Stella Marina

Nothing positive except for the location. The cleanliness of the room and towels leaves something to be desired, nightmare shower. Old and noisy air conditioner. The pool unusable for three days. Embarrassing breakfast. Room paid 200 euros per night!

I stayed only one night with my boyfriend at this property. We, out of necessity, had to take the last remaining “superior” room, at the modest price of €200; obviously we expected to have comforts that we did not have, not even in the slightest part. We arrived at 10 in the morning, but the room was not ready because they do check-in after 5 PM, so we left our luggage in a storage area under the stairs and returned in the afternoon. Once in the room, we realized that the door could not be locked, just like the curtain behind it. We called Pablo, a very kind employee, who prepared to help us but clearly could not do much other than close the shutter with an iron bar, thus preventing us from having even a little bit of light that was coming from outside. He tried to do everything by himself because the maintenance worker had already finished his working hours, or at least that is what we were told. As if that were not enough, the floor was dirty, and the shower had misaligned doors that did not close well. We were not provided with any shampoo or anything else, other than a product in a container, probably body wash. I had also requested a lactose-free breakfast, and the only thing I found was a yogurt, the only one in strawberry flavor. For this price paid, I would have expected to have at least the basic necessities. The only positive note is the location, super convenient, halfway between the port and the town.

We booked this hotel because it was close to the diving center and because there was a pool, since my wife does not dive and she could enjoy the sun and the water while waiting for me. Unfortunately, the pool was out of service. The rooms are spacious but nothing extravagant. The only thing provided for the shower was hand soap, which you have to use for both the shower and shampoo. My bath towels were stained and the bathroom trash can was not emptied. Nice view of the harbor. With lounge chairs to enjoy the sun but no umbrella... so it is impossible to get in the shade. It is clear that I will not return. Expensive for a hotel that is not worth it.
