Viola Palace Hotel

Horrendous hotel ,none of the facilities promised,no bar ,no gym,no restaurant,no air conditioning,no sauna .We had a horrific stay ,this hotel it is NOT in Messina as stated but miles outside.poorly staffed, hotel rundown, smashed windows and no facilities nearby. There is a motorway at the back ,we were locked out the hotel at 21.30 !!!

Nothing like the pictures at all. No hot water upon nighttime arrival, it was however hot in the morning. Air conditioning just made noise, didn’t cool. No breakfast as promised, no coffee! Lobby smells like cigarettes. Bed was hard as a rock! Do not stay here.

Degradation and dirt of the outdoor garden, rusty taps, no hairdryer, dirty blankets, beds arranged like military cots! The staff put there randomly the owner a slob! Frameless door with all the electrical cables exposed, from the first floor you could not walk down because a door had been walled up, dirty mini bar, hair in the shower and I could continue for a long time! Avoid like the plague
