Hotel Alexander

We have been going for years, Unfortunately, Will not return. Extremely expensive, but the place is worth it. We feel that the service as well as the attitude of the proprietors have changed, after being valued guests, we now felt like last class citizens because of the other clientele who remained longer. In fact we were set in another room to eat instead of our usual dining room. Don't let this review stop you, but it seems they have lost the love and interest they once had.

With the exception of a nice view about Meran, few good things to tell about the hotel. The rooms are not in an adequate state for a 4* hotel (cheap old towels, holes in bed sheets, dirty tiles in bathroom and smelly). After 2 rooms were in similar condition (thereof one "suite") the unfriendly owner also asked for a cancellation fee for early departure. Never again.
