Hotel Albion Mountain Spa Resort Dolomites

Incredibly beautiful and welcoming place. We returned to this hotel because we like the atmosphere, the good food.... SPA with 3 saunas, 2 pools, 3 hydromassages, 2 relaxation areas. In many corners, apples are available to guests; in the pool area, there are free hot and cold drinks. At the restaurant, Silvio's welcome is unique; he is a friendly head waiter who is very attentive to helping and satisfying all our needs. The waiters were no less impressive: Filippo, Max, and Nello, these are the ones we interacted with the most and we noted their commitment and their professionalism. Additional note: still water is free. The rooms are well cleaned and equipped with a safe and fridge. The hotel offers free organized trips both by bicycle and on foot: the only thing you pay for is the ski lift if it is used. I am very satisfied with my experience at this hotel.

I stayed at this beautiful hotel with my family. The hotel is a bit far from the center of Ortisei, which must be reached by car/bus/shuttle (for a fee). A free card for bus/train travel is provided, which I really appreciated. 5-star restaurant, a truly high level, in my opinion the added value of this hotel, and I am referring to the chef's à la carte dishes. Varied fish/meat menu, well-executed, great selection. Waiters are truly excellent. Very beautiful pool/spa, although poorly supervised; I never saw anyone checking, even considering the presence of numerous families. Room cleanliness is very good, the ladies are very helpful and attentive. I am sorry to have to make some notes regarding two things: 1) The attention expected at a 4-star S hotel toward the guest, in my opinion, was lacking. 2) I would absolutely NOT recommend this hotel to families with children under 8-10 years old. The point is that we know it is not a family hotel, but the "children's entertainment" from 6 PM to 10 PM consists of leaving your child, if >4 years old, in a very nice playroom full of attractions. There is supervision by a nice and capable lady, but the problem is that the children are not monitored, or in any case, the supervision is not sufficient, especially considering the number and the age gap between the children; I would have appreciated a greater presence (at least one other lady). Also because, despite not being a family hotel, there were many families, so not providing services does not seem like a good solution to me. Furthermore, the hotel includes daily bike or walking excursions, but none of these excursions can be done by a family. Only on Fridays is there a bicycle outing for families with children over 10 years old. Upon request Calling the number provided for other options, the answer was that I could pay for a private guide for my family and rent the e-bikes with a 10% discount. So the bicycles and guide are included for everyone except for a family with children under 10 years old. Therefore, I do not recommend this hotel to families with small children because you cannot use all the wonderful included services, and children must be supervised even when they go to the playroom. I believe that more appropriate solutions to customer requests could be found in a 4-star superior hotel.

Well, what can I say, beautiful hotel, fantastic staff, Saverio and Anna are exquisite. Wellness center with outdoor pool is fantastic. Restaurant from breakfast to dinner is like being on MasterChef.
