Unfortunately a terrible experience The property is located in a very beautiful setting and is certainly a good starting point for those who love the mountains and hiking. Unfortunately, our experience was primarily affected by the owner's behavior. We encountered an arrogant attitude, brusque manners, and a lack of willingness to engage in dialogue on several occasions, which made us feel unwelcome as guests. It is not so much the potential misunderstandings or differing opinions that leave a negative memory, but rather the WAY in which they are handled. A customer can express an opinion, make a request, or even simply have a different need without this having to turn into a confrontation with unpleasant tones. We believe that politeness, courtesy, and respect should be the foundation of hospitality, especially from those who manage a property and represent the first point of contact with their guests. It is a real shame, because the place is worth it and could have provided us with a decidedly different experience.

We stayed for the last week of August. Hotel with a panoramic and private location. Sergio and Florin, dining room waiters, professional, friendly, and helpful. Dishes with excellent presentation, original, traditional, and delicious. Great expertise of the owner Markus in the selection and tasting of excellent wines and in the organization of splendid group excursions. I stayed at this property with my family in the month of August 2026. We spent a truly pleasant time. The location is excellent: just over a km from the town center, immersed in peace and quiet, with a bus stop in front of the hotel, convenient for easily reaching the main departure points for our excursions. The rooms are cozy, clean, and comfortable, but what won us over most of all was the spectacular view directly of the Sassolungo and the Sassopiatto. A note of merit certainly also goes to the food: tasty dishes, quality ingredients, and satisfying portions. Breakfast was also very much appreciated. The staff was very kind, competent, and professional. Another strong point of the hotel is certainly the services dedicated to wellness. The pool and the spa are very beautiful, well-cared-for, and well-maintained, and they proved to be truly precious after days spent on the trails. A special mention goes to Marcus, the owner, a person of integrity, authentic and respectful of his own principles. We particularly appreciated his deep respect for nature, which he tried to convey to us as well, making us understand even more how important it is to preserve such an extraordinary environment. We also appreciated his respect for the facility's rules: simple and clear rules, which if communicated from the beginning help to avoid misunderstandings and possible mishaps. A memory that we will particularly carry with us is the beautiful excursion to the Puez taken together with him. He made himself available for free to accompany a nice group of guests, sharing his knowledge of the area with us and allowing us to experience a truly special day in the mountains. A gesture that we found very generous and that made the experience even more authentic and pleasant. If I were to return to Ortisei, I would gladly return to this property.
