Hotel Digon

I stayed in Digon in August, I had a very good time, the hotel is very beautiful with an infinity pool and a wonderful view, plus a fantastic hot tub with hot water. The fantastic staff was kind and welcoming, from the reception with Ilario who was very kind and professional to the waiters Daniele, Amer and all the other guys. The owners always welcomed me with a smile. Breakfast and dinner were excellent with a vast assortment of appetizers. The cleanliness in the room was also excellent.

From the minute we stepped into this stunning resort nestled into rolling hills and evergreen forests, Hotel Digon welcomed us home! Luxury yet homey…how do they accomplish this feat? Perhaps its roots over 50 years ago as a B&B and the generational love and heart to serve gives a clue. Superb chefs offer international and local cuisine under the aegis of 87 and 83 year old founders who never fail to meet and greet, tend the lush grounds, and juice organic produce among countless other jobs. The half-fare provides great value, comfort, and gastronomic delight. Danielo and other. staff served beyond our wildest expectations, noting the absence of one of our parties who was taken ill and delivered broth and toast to his room. Then come the next generation: Sister and brother with a vision to set a world-class spa and pool area in this incomparable place. Three years ago, remodeling came to rooms with a balcony view of the stark mountains, the glittering fairytale village lights by night. With the piney smell lingering, you will enjoy superb bedding, loads of storage…our room even had a living room/den/study! For decades we have sought out the places where heaven meets earth and forever touches heart, mind, body, and soul. Hotel Digon outperforms every luxury hotel we have visited…at a fraction of the cost. We will return…and hope to bring others…

Very nice hotel, just outside Ortisei. Infinity pool, with a view of the Resciesa plateau and a very well-equipped spa. The food is very good and the staff is really kind. Compliments to the managers.
