Green week in Madonna di Campiglio with friends from the Florence Municipality Cral. In January, we booked Hotel Europa for its absolutely competitive price-quality ratio. Confirmed by the stay in a family atmosphere that has its strength in the attention to detail and the care for the guest's requests. The history of Hotel Europa began with Grandpa Sisinio and his workshop. Times change and people come to ski in Madonna di Campiglio. The economic crisis demanded innovation, and so the business transformed into a motel, following the trend from across the ocean (bed and breakfast), and then, in the seventies, into a hotel. Sisinio, an electrical engineering expert and passionate collector of tube radios, many of which still serve as decoration and historical testimony in the hotel rooms, such as the 1939 Voce del Padrone horn gramophone near the reception. The hotel is managed by his granddaughter Emanuela and her family. An attentive entrepreneur, friendly and welcoming, upon our arrival, even before we went up to our room, she activated our card to use public transportation for free. She would provide us with advice and ideas every day on trails to hike and mountain huts to reach. A close-knit staff contributes to daily well-being. The dining room staff is also an example of skillful management. One could say, a successful globalization. The Cuban Irahin and the Romanians Ovidio (a name in honor of the Roman poet) and Nicoletta looked after our five tables with care. At the bar and, when the owner was not present, at the reception, was the young Algerian-Neapolitan Samir. All of them were always smiling and professional. Every afternoon at the bar a snack, a welcome relaxing offer upon returning from daily walks. As a surprise one evening the hotel organized the \"rustic dinner\" with traditional local dishes and for whose menu I refer to the attached photo, an integral part of the review. Elegant table setting, soft lighting, the staff and Emanuela wear Tyrolean costumes. We danced to the music of Umberto, a show that involved everyone present. A nice idea, a successful evening. We were really happy. Highly recommended!

A family atmosphere, the friendliness of the owners, and excellent cuisine are the strengths of this hotel. Optimal location for hiking and reaching the cable cars or the typical shops of the town.
