Bed & Breakfast All'Orologio

When we arrived at the B&B we were kindly greeted by Christina and her husband who immediately personalised the visit by inviting us in and showed us to our room. She told us about the local area and offered us information and offered us leaflets and bits of writing she had written herself based on her own knowledge. The room was delightful with all we needed and I have to say the breakfast was the best we experienced whilst in Italy. The other guests were invited to sit with us and we shared our stories of our travels so far which was lovely too. All in all, the most wonderful place to stay in Lake Garda. The area itself is set back in the hills and has a lot to offer, having a car, made it easy to visit all areas of the Lake.

This hotel was clean and sweet but most importantly Cristina and Francesco are extraordinary hosts who really take care of their guests. They greeted us at almost midnight after missed flights and lost luggage with the sweetest peaches and offers of crackers and yogurt for our 4 year old daughter. They battled the airline for us in search of our bags. Our 4 year old felt right at home and did not want to leave. A great quiet, warm and friendly home base to feel at home in a beautiful town.

Francesco en Chistina really make you feel at home in their B&B! If you're not looking for massive hotels, but for small, cosy, relaxing place to stay, this really is a holiday tip. Each breakfast was perfect, we were always pampered with something home made (omelet or crumble or cake or bread) on top of the usual breakfast and great italian coffee! The rooms are clean, spacious and just perfect. You can walk to Lago di Garda and you have got so many nice villages to visit! We have already been there two times, and at the end of May we are returning in Toscalano Maderno, to start our B&B tour in Italy.
