Bristol

Awful hotel. Dated, dark and depressing. Had a single cupboard/room, very small, handles hanging off furniture. Small single bed. Overlooked street so noisy traffic. Shower very good though. Food very bland and repetitive. Sausages and bacon swimming in fat. Staff very polite and pleasant and room cleaned daily. Expect better, place needs pulling down just like faulty towers from the 1970s.

Perfect room. Pool ok, breakfast ok. Very simple and simple breakfast.

A mixed experience. Positive things: The staff is very helpful. Breakfast is ok, however without variation in the 7 days we were there. The pool is delicious. Aircon in the room. Negative things: The evening buffet is sexless, dull and cooked. Salad bar without variations for 7 days. There are no umbrellas at the pool, do not cover people's needs at all and although the staff knew that an umbrella was broken, this was not changed until 5 days later. Shower cabin very small. There are no refrigerators in the rooms, which is under all criticism!! The rooms are of varying sizes and if you are unlucky, then you will have to stay in their safe.
