At the time of check-in, we were told that a surprise was waiting for us in the room. We assume they were referring to the side view of Lake Garda. Although the view was pleasant, it did not manage to compensate for our disappointment. What should have been a surprise turned into a great disappointment for us. Shortly after our arrival, we informed the front desk that we did not feel comfortable in the room. It was explained to us that the hotel was completely full and that no other accommodation was available. Since we could not imagine spending our stay there, we asked about the possibility of leaving the following day. At first, the receptionist explained to us that we could leave the hotel at any time, but we would still have to pay for the two remaining nights as well. Only the supplement for our dog would have been deducted. For us, this solution was not acceptable. The receptionist then offered to consult the hotel manager and asked us to return about an hour later. When we returned, we were informed that, as an exceptional measure, we could cut our stay short after only one night, paying exclusively for that one. For this gesture of courtesy, we would like to sincerely thank the management. Unfortunately, this did not change our overall impression. The room did not correspond to the image conveyed by the photographs on the website. We had the impression that an attempt had been made to renovate the hotel, but that the work had been carried out only partially. In the bathroom, the tiles simply looked painted. At first glance the result may seem decent, but looking at it more closely it gives the impression of work done in a not very accurate way. The laminate flooring in the room also had several swollen spots, probably due to humidity. The balcony also gave an impression of poor maintenance: the plaster is peeling off the walls and there are numerous paint splatters on the tiles, probably left over from previous painting work. We were also surprised by the fact that the bathroom window of the room next door overlooked our balcony. This made us perceive a lack of privacy. Another aspect that, in our opinion, is not up to the standard of a four-star hotel concerns the space for storing clothes. There is no real closet: there is only an open coat rack with numerous hangers, but the space is not sufficient for the clothes of two people. Furthermore, we do not find it pleasant to have to leave all our clothes exposed in the room for the entire duration of our stay. The only closed piece of furniture is suitable only for folded items like t-shirts or sweaters. We found the presence of single-use plastic cups, individually wrapped, equally incomprehensible. In a hotel of this category we would expect real glasses. At the same time, the hotel invites guests to leave towels on the floor only if they wish to replace them, to reduce waste and protect the environment. In our opinion, this message is in contradiction with the use of single-use plastic cups. Among the services indicated, there is also an in-room safe. The safe was present, but no key was given to us, nor were we provided with any instructions on how to use it. Consequently, we were unable to use it. The floor plan displayed in the room made us think that we had received one of the smallest rooms on the floor. Upon our request, we were told that this was not the case, but the floor plan gave us a different impression. The bed also did not turn out to be particularly comfortable. It is only 160 cm wide and is made up of two 80 cm single mattresses. Another negative aspect was the breakfast. We arrived in the breakfast room around 8:30 AM and no air conditioning system was running. Only around 9:00–9:15 AM did we notice that the air conditioning had been turned on. With the high summer temperatures and a buffet with food on display, we found this situation unpleasant and not up to the standards we expect from a four-star hotel. We also noticed that during our stay there were very few guests in the common areas, particularly at the hotel bar. Naturally, we cannot know the reasons, but it seemed unusual to us, since guests normally tend to spend time in the common areas when they are comfortable in a hotel. The side view of Lake Garda was certainly pleasant, but it failed to compensate for the numerous negative impressions of our stay. Overall, we did not feel comfortable. The photographs published on the website convey, in our opinion, a much more modern and well-kept image than what we found. For us, the saying holds true: a picture is worth a thousand words. This hotel, in our experience, is not what it seems. The only star in our review is due exclusively to the courtesy solution that allowed us to cut our stay short after just one night, paying only for that one.

Compared to the area, the quality-price ratio would be excellent: access to the SPA (only from 3 PM to 7 PM, unfortunately), a small outdoor pool (a bit green and dirty with pebbles and plant debris), free use of sun loungers with beach access (great idea), bike rental, indoor pool (restricted to children after 3 PM), simple and minimal rooms with balconies, courteous and kind service, but... the air conditioning in the breakfast room and common areas was OFF. And with 39 degrees outside, I assure you it was a sweat bath. At the roof garden (without a bar), there is a beautiful, heated hot tub, usable in the evening, but... half broken... In short, a hotel that could be amazing at this price, but it loses points in the small details. The breakfast was plentiful, but with that heat, who enjoyed it?

We stayed two nights in this facility located directly on the lakeside; our room was very spacious with a lake view, the breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of high-quality products, and we greatly appreciated the Spa included in the room price and the opportunity to use the bicycles for free. Also worth noting is the possibility of parking directly at the hotel; for us, it was a very positive experience, highly recommended!
