Surf Hotel Pier

For surfing, it is fine for a few days. The room was okay, and so was the breakfast. The guys who were there for the breakfast service were to be forgotten... No desire to work. Standing near the counter chatting..... The poor lady was running back and forth to serve the guests. This staff really makes a hotel look bad. Guests would arrive and have to move the tables themselves when they needed 6 seats. These guys were just standing there watching without doing a thing. What a shame.

Yes, the pier makes history. We've been there since we started surfing and so have many other oldies. The bar and the possibility to eat downstairs now evening, (since Corona) is a great idea. The staff at the hotel are nice and accommodating, Elias is especially to be mentioned here. Fusia is a pearl anyway. So many current employees comfort us about the change of personnel from then ( Sandra, Fulvia, Mimi, Mariastella and the 2 Ober(name omitted) as well as Horst..and the then parking lot attendant ). These weren't just employees. These were personalities who, Hotel stay then turned into an event. It was always like that. Come home!! Yes the parking situation is annoying, guests who already have to pay their car... but then are not entitled to a fixed parking space during the period of stay! Why is it not regulated that smaller cars must approach the parking lots above! With a transit and many have it, this cannot be done without damaging the vehicle! I remind you of the surfboard manufacturers who banged on the wall arch... The boardroom of the pier is unfortunately totally disinterested. TOO BAD! Finding customers is easy, it takes time...and it disrupts the holiday. You sit between Riva and Limone, do not dare to drive away or shop, because especially on weekends the seats are occupied, mainly from the day guests. Riding a bike through the tunnels is very dangerous. And people watch out, meanwhile the hydrofoil is allowed again in Sept. Also on weekends the sailing catamaran, foil sailors and and... regattas. We have already stopped surfing because it is partly directly dangerous...whoever lies in the water with little wind and cannot take off easily again is shouted together by the "dinghy captain "... From the balcony you can film how close they turned to the hotel and then luckily just drove over a sail... Nevertheless! we will book the pier again as every year... Because it's just the best place...and we always like to see each other.all Nevertheless, it would be an appreciation of the overnight guests...that the parking problem is rethought by the daughter of Mr Montaglioni... We would be happy to be heard... Hang Loose ci vediamo a prossima.

great spot, wind as needed, rental perfect and pro team ; safety 100%.just parking is complicated but you get always a help. Recommended for all level of wind and foil folks; go in the morning by 7.45 .we have t rried the restaurant yet but seems honest ; you can relax on thr lounges between the two winds . Second wave starts at 2pm with a strong Ora .
