I looked forward to my stay after seeing the pictures when I ordered this hotel. When we arrived at the room I should have been warned as there were ear plugs at the desk. When we opened to the balcony we could hear why as there were a big highway bridge 500 m from balcony with lots of traffic noise. I am a light sleeper so even with ear plugs I woke at 5 due to traffic starting. My teenage son who sleeps through everything woke at 7 as some small dogs went beserk in the lobby for half an hour. Otherwise room was nice, and staff was very nice too. But would not have booked i I saw real view.

In hindsight....I would have opted for a different choice. From the location of the hotel, also uncomfortable for parking, to the room that had been reserved for us. It is inconceivable that in a 3 star hotel we have rooms without a minimum of fridge.... or mini fridge. Another sore note is the stench of the pillows, but also the bed linen and towels.... now worn out to the minimum: holes on the pillowcases and towels, the photos published are proof. Breakfast fairly good, nothing was missing but it is a credit that other facilities in the area also have.

We visited this beautiful and especially so great located hotel for the second time in transit. What a surprise, in the meantime rooms, bathrooms and the house have been renovated and modernized without losing the South Tyrolean charm. We were greeted very friendly and got a really great restaurant recommendation from the charming receptionist. For our dog they had lovingly prepared a dog bed and bowls. Our four-legged friend cheerfully accepted it. High above Trento we will certainly stop back soon.
