Hotel Figl

Booked based on the reviews. Catastrophic arrival, searched for a long time until we arrived at the Walter garage, from there only a few meters to the hotel. They should have informed us about that. Our junior suite for 220 euros a night without breakfast has a window facing an unkempt light well. It is unbelievable that they rent out something like this. An exchange was not possible.

The location is excellent, the room is spacious and clean, but some details are missing: the bathroom lacks a window; if someone has to get up at night, they wake the others because the bathroom has a glass pane at the top that looks out onto the room; the partition between the double bed and the sofa prevents watching TV from the bed; the courtesy set is missing. The breakfast is certainly not worth the 22 euros per person that we were charged; I asked for scrambled eggs and was told they could only make them soft-boiled, even though it appeared to be included in the room rate on many sites. The staff is definitely courteous and helpful

Hotel Figl is a great hotel in the heart of the old town of Bolzano, right near the main square. The location is fantastic, with plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops right on your doorstep, and the cable car is also very close by. The hotel service was excellent, and our room was clean and comfortable, with very comfy beds. It was the perfect location for exploring beautiful Bolzano and enjoying everything the old town has to offer. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Hotel Figl.
