My stay at Hotel Sassongher was a wonderful introduction to the Dolomites. The hotel reflects the spirit of the destination, Alpine charm with warm hospitality. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, making it easy to feel at home. The location is excellent, sorounded by breathtaking mountain scenery and just a short walk from the center of Corvara. One of the highlights was the team. Every interaction was friendly, attentive and professional. This level of hospitality truly enhances the overall experience. Mrs.Paula, the concierge and Mr.Saro, the bartender made my stay very special. All team are fantastic and Mr. Francesco and the entire family made me feel genuinely welcome. A special thank you to Saro, who has been part of the hotel since 1998. His warmth, dedication, and pride in the property perfectly embody the spirit of hospitality that makes Sassongher so special. The family owners are present and involved, personally caring for every detail and creating an atmosphere that feels both elegant and incredibly welcoming. It is rare to find a luxury hotel where the owners are so connected to the guest experience. Another highlight was Paula, the Brazilian concierge, whose personalized recommendations helped us discover some of the most beautiful and authentic experiences in the region. She takes the time to understand each guest's interests and carefully tailors suggestions to create unforgettable memories. The stunning views, exceptional service, authentic local culture, and genuine sense of belonging make Hotel Sassongher much more than a hotel—it is an experience. If you are looking for a place that allows you to connect deeply with the destination, its people, and its traditions while enjoying the beauty of the Dolomites, I cannot recommend Hotel Sassongher highly enough. Historic hotel that makes hospitality its strong point. Exceptional cleanliness, great location, and beautiful spa. Elegant in-house restaurant with very professional waiters and varied cuisine. Highly recommended.
