Called spontaneously and booked in for 4 days! Fantastic location of Civitella with a great view of the Val di Chiana valley. The hostess Maria is a very warm host who runs her house with much love. From breakfast to dinner you feel very well cooked, just like with Nonna!

Good location, short distance to surrounding villages.Quiet room and location. Hair detergent and soap in the bathroom. The room was not hot and there is a cooler in the room. The host Max was really friendly and helpful. It was the If you had any questions, Max always answered very quickly. Breakfast could be improved. Very plain, no bread. Dry cake, biscuit, coffee, juice and marmalade.

Fantastic beautiful place to stay. Maria is so friendly and welcoming and an amazing chef! The location and history makes this an excellent base as well as a glorious setting with fantastic views. Other good restaurants and bar even though a very small, quiet place.
